This little centre is built on the right side of "Valle Versa", 
in the nearby of the road that take you to Piacenza area.
We have certain document and ruins of its exhistance
tanks to a document dated 1014, where Arrigo I, gave it
to the Bishop of  Pavia; from 1412 to 1629 it belonged 
to " Beccaria ". Since 1691 until the latest years of the
XVIII century it belonged to Belcredi family . You have 
to see the Parish Church  dedicated to Santi Cosma e 
Damiano built around the second half of the '600, inside
you can admire several art works  like the Sacrity 
Wardrobe of the XVIII century, and in the garden of the 
Canonic an ancient grave stone of Roman Ages.
Several Sagre, between the others  on Mars we
celebrate S. Giuseppe, the  " Frittella " (like a pancake, 
typical Carnival biscuits), made by sweet pastry fried 
into the oil, and on July the  Sagra of "Moscato di Volpara" 
excellent dessert  wine, sweet and parfumed.
