Coming back from Montalto Pavese in direction of
Broni you can see between two hills a "Castle" and
a  "Square Tower" in a good condition, ancient 
vestiges of the XV century, when the fortify village 
belonged to Beccaria and in the 1475 to the noble
family De' Giorni Counts from Vistarino. You have
to visit also the Castle, the Parish Church dedicated
to Santa Maria Assunta. 
Typical products are, here too, the excellent wines 
D.O.C. as Riesling,  Bonarda, and Pinot.
