For ist geographic position, this little fortified village,
was in every period place of battles,theatre of bloody
battles and destoyenment. During Federico Barbarossa
Ages ist name was Monte Acuto, between the 1630
and the 1700 " Beccaria " owner of the ancient feud
gave it  to the religious group of the Spanish Barnabiti,
which changed the " rock2 in a college- cloister , where
inside there was a pharmacy to take care of the poor of
that area. Today, of that Rock, tanks to Dott. Vercesi, 
even if the building has been repaired several times, 
you can admire the original project.
Today the San Michele Arcangelo Parish Church is
very different from the original one built in the 1303, 
and inside you can see two paintings of Gaudenzio 
Ferrari and the marble "barock" altar.
